Our Purpose
Who We Are
At Evans Road Presbyterian Community Church, Papamoa we encourage everyone to belong and to participate fully in the life of the church - local families of all sizes, visitors and tourists alike.
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and our emphasis is on the essentials of the Christian faith; worship and to learn and be both encouraged and challenged by the preaching and teaching of Bible-based sermons.
Our congregation is encouraged to participate during the service - to offer an intercessory prayer; a word of thanks, or a short testimony.
Children are a very important part of our church family and they are welcome at our family services. After the children’s talk, the children are encouraged to go into the meeting room for fun, food and Bible-based teaching (for 3 years old - 12 years old).
After the service, morning tea is held in the foyer. This is a great time to chat with others and meet some new people.
